So thankful to take on the role of Chair: Chief Curator of the CAA Service to Artist Committee.

Very excited to be part of the UAAC Sustainability Committee! We had our first meeting and I am looking forward to imagining a conference that is not only acknowledging the climate crisis but taking action.

The Kingston Canadian Film Festival is the largest festival in the world dedicated exclusively to Canadian film. I am so excited to be curating the Local Shorts program for 2024.

I am thankful to receive a Graduate Research Fellowship at The W.D. Jordan Rare Books and Special Collections at Queen’s University Library. I will be mentored by Dr. Brendan F.R. Edwards.

Unearthed is a series of artistic interventions/conversations/experiments that seek to unearth and make space for some of the stories of this place. From August 26-30 2023, six artists will bring diverse perspectives to converse with the history of the park and pressing contemporary social and environmental concerns. They will help us think about way-finding, home, identity, play, plants, and the land we stand on. Unearthed is a walk in the park with a twist. 

I am so thankful to receive the David Edney Research Travel Award which will allow me to study collage in Paris this summer!

As a recipient of a Honorable Mention Norval Morrisseau Award for Visual Arts, Surrey Muse Awards, 2022 I have been asked to do an artist talk on May 27. I’ll be presenting from my studio at the Banff Centre during my BAiR residency.
