Presenting Duchamp’s Collages on Histories on Display, Histories Unbound: Pathways of the Past the 22nd Annual McGill-Queen’s Conference which takes place in Kingston on March 29th and March 30th, 2025.

This panel critically re-examines the potentials of curatorial pedagogy and practice within our institutions’ social and cultural contexts and curatorial partnerships. Among different considerations, Curatorial Pedagogy and Practice, focuses on the positioning for curatorial methodologies, the roles of curatorial practice as research-creation, “the education turn” in the curatorial, and the changing study of the curatorial in academia. In bringing together curators, artists, historians, educators and scholars we hope to provide a conversational forum to share and analyze texts, issues, discourses and personal curatorial experiences that inform the futures of curatorial praxis.

The CAA Services to Artists Committee is thrilled to share that artists Wendy Red Star and Martha Rosler will be the featured guests of the CAA 113th Annual Conference Annual Artist Interviews!

Join us for a CAA-organized special offsite exhibition presented by the Services to Artists Committee at at the Sotheby's Institute of Art, a short 15 minute walk offsite. RSVP required for access to exhibition at least 24 hours in advance. Performance will be held Thursday, 3-6-p.m. RSVP HERE.
