From A to Z(ine) Closing Reception and Catalogue Launch →

April 30, 2024

You are invited to attend the closing reception for the exhibition, From A to Z(ine), at W.D. Jordan Rare Books and Special Collections on Thursday May 9 at 2:00-4:00pm. Light refreshments and snacks will be available.

This will be your last chance to view the exhibition, if you haven't done so already, or to come back and take another look!

From A to Z(ine) features examples of zines (DIY self-publications directed at a particular/niche audience) from within our collections, as well as several recent acquisitions made with the exhibition in mind, and examples of zines made by students during one of the three zine workshops held in association with the exhibition.

Limited copies of a zine exhibition catalogue, featuring interpretations and responses to the exhibition by graduate students from ENGL859 will be available at the reception.

Co-curator, Elyse Longair, would like to acknowledge the support of a SCCS Graduate Research Fellowship and the Queen’s Inclusive Community Fund for contributing to the workshops.
